KBR Inc. has won a $45 million contract by Atlanta Public Schools to renovate and repair school facilities across the district.
The one-year contract offers four option years for renewal and marks the third consecutive job order contract that Houston-based KBR (NYSE: KBR) has been awarded by APS.
Work is expected to begin immediately.
In March, Piedmont Healthcare Inc. announced it would pay KBR’s building group $94 million for preconstruction and construction services for a replacement facility for Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Atlanta.
