The Georgetown Walmart is hiring 60 people in preparation for the unveiling of its massive renovation project.
The mega retailer at 620 S. I-35 is being fully remodeled inside and out, according to a press release, though the company would not put a dollar amount on the project. Construction began April 4 and is expected to conclude in June.
The new design is described as "clean, open and bright" with wider aisles, low-profile shelving and bright interior paint. The store is staying open during construction and most work will be done overnight.
