Hotels.com  is moving its headquarters, and its 300 employees, to Lincoln Centre off LBJ Freeway from its location off North Central Expressway.

The online travel provider has signed a lease for about 46,000 square feet of office space in the building, taking the fifth and sixth floors in Lincoln Centre I at the southeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and LBJ Freeway.

The company plans to move into its new location by this summer.

Hotels.com is the name tenant with top of building signage at Meadow Park Tower, a 16-story, 250,000-square-foot office tower.

The company has about 55,000 square feet of office space, but in the past, it had 72,000 square feet of office space on flour floors in that building off North Central Expressway.

Hotels.com will have eyebrow signage on Lincoln Centre I with views to the Dallas North Tollway and LBJ Freeway.

The new space at Lincoln Centre will give Hotels.com’s employees more of a collaborative work environment in an open floor plan, said Taylor Cole, the director of public relations and social media at Hotels.com spokeswoman.

“We will be able to better utilize our space,” Cole said. “This will give our employees access to a lot more restaurants and help them have a better work-life balance.”

Gensler was hired to design Hotels.com’s new offices.

The new office space is closer to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport    and has a hotel within the Lincoln Centre complex, which will help Hotels.com’s operations.

Mike WyattRobbie Baty, and Bill McClung of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc.  represented Hotels.com in its real estate search.

Matt SchendleMeredith Durham, and Mark Dickenson of Cousins Properties  represented the landlord, TIAA-CREF.

The real estate brokers declined to comment on the transaction Wednesday.
