Houstonians who live or work downtown now have double the options for their grocery shopping needs.
Downtown Houston gets its second grocery store with the opening of Georgia’s Farm to Market on Friday, CultureMap reports.
Downtown's first grocery store, Phoenicia Specialty Foods Downtown, opened in late 2011 in One Park Place.
Georgia's, a store and restaurant, opens at 420 Main, at the corner of Main and Prairie, in what used to be Byrd’s. This is Georgia’s second location, the first location is in west Houston at 12171 Katy Freeway.
