Satterfield & Pontikes Construction Inc. has completed construction on three new Walmart Supercenters in Corpus Christi.
The company’s San Antonio Business Unit built a new 180,000-square-foot Supercenter on Staples Street on the site of the former Parkdale Plaza shopping mall.
Raymond Harris & Associates designed the store, which was built at a cost of $11.8 million. The store has been equipped with large deli, produce and bakery sections, a pharmacy, garden center and tire and lube center.
Satterfield & Pontikes’ San Antonio Business Unit also built a $13 million Walmart Supercenter on Saratoga Boulevard. The 150,000-square-foot store was designed by BRR Architecture.
A third Walmart Supercenter location was built on Flour Bluff Drive in Corpus Christi, but by Sattterfield & Pontikes’ Houston Business Unit. This store also was designed by BRR Architecture.
All three stores were built in less than a year. The stores have been built with energy-efficient and environmentally friendly features that reduce energy and water usage.
