Trophy Club's Planning and Zoning Commission has denied developer Scott Beck's plans to develop a 26-acre tract of land at the town's entrance off of State Highway 114.
The Times Register newspaper reported that the commission voted unanimously to deny the application, which had drawn heavy citizen complaint over the inclusion of multifamily housing in the development and a proposal to circumvent the P&Z and the City Council in approving future changes by allowing town staff to approve them.
The town will allow Beck to resubmit his plan, should he decide to do so.
