Fort Worth-based Alcon Laboratories will begin moving about 400 workers into 87,000 square feet of space at Wilcox Plaza at Green Oaks in the spring.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that the move is likely the largest new office lease in Tarrant County this year. The move is needed to accommodate employees moving to Fort Worth from Atlanta, as well as othe growth, the newspaper reported.
Alcon is owned by Swiss pharmaceutical company, Novartis.
Atlanta-based Ciba Vision, which makes contact lenses and lens-care products, and the Novartis Ophthalmic unit are being consolidated into Alcon's Fort Worth operations.
