Mama Fu’s Asian House in Austin has signed a development agreement to build 11 new stores in San Antonio and West Texas.
The deal was signed with Ken and Steve Howard, who combined have almost 65 years of experience in the franchise business. They’ve worked with brands like Sonic Drive-In and and currently own 15 Buffalo Wild Wings units in West Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
The brothers are looking to expand in Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, Amarillo, San Angelo and Wichita Falls in West Texas, as well as San Antonio, according to a Mama Fu’s spokeswoman.
Mama Fu’s sells made-to-order, Asian-inspired food that includes a selection of Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese and Korean menu options. Mama Fu's already has 13 locations across Texas, including four in Austin.
