LBA Hospitality broke ground this week on Nassau Bay’s newest hotel, the Courtyard by Marriot at Nassau Bay Town Square.
The hotel, which is situated on a 2.8-acre parcel of land, is at the intersection of NASA Parkway and Saturn Lane, across from the NASA Johnson Space Center Campus.
The hotel will feature 70 king-bed rooms, 43 double queens, nine studio suites and two one-bedroom suites. Guestrooms will feature large desks, sofa beds and free WiFi and broadband Internet access.
The hotel includes 1,750 square feet of meeting space, The Bistro food and beverage spot, a business center, outdoor pool with fire pit and a fitness center.
Upon opening, the 124-room hotel will be managed by Dothan, Ala.-based LBA Hospitality, providing jobs for approximately 30 associates.
