Alonti Catering is planning on opening its doors in San Antonio in September that will serve up a full selection of sandwich platters, fruit trays, breakfast platters and desserts.
The company was founded in Houston in 1974 after New Yorkers Cecile and Al PepiSr. relocated their popular gourmet grocery business from the Big Apple. Since that time, the business has steadily evolved to a deli shop and finally a catering company. In 1991, Al Pepi Jr. succeeded his father as president of the company. Today, the company has more than 30 locations nationwide.
Alonti Catering will open up shop on Sept. 6 at 8025 Callaghan Road.
