Benchmark Title LLC, an affiliate ofBenchmark Bank , signed a long-term lease for 8,800 square feet of office space at 2000 McKinney Ave. in Uptown Dallas.
The site will serve as Benchmark Title's new headquarters for roughly 30 new and existing employees. This will move the commercial title company's headquarters from Plano to Dallas.
Benchmark Title also has residential closing teams in The Shops in Legacy and at 7019 Hillcrest Ave., at the corner of Hillcrest Avenue and Lovers Lane.
The company will occupy the entire fourth floor of the office building in October. The newly signed lease represents a 100 percent expansion of operations in North Texas, officials said.
"We are very excited about Benchmark Title's expansion into the Uptown market," said Mike Barnett, CEO of Benchmark Title, in a written release. "The strategic location, local amenities and unique floor plan are going to contribute to the future growth and success of our business."
Jones Lang LaSalle's Matt Craft represented Benchmark in the transaction. Lincoln Property Company 's Elliot Prieur III represented the Dallas-based landlord.
