ARK I Ltd. has acquired two public parking lots in downtown San Antonio from American General Insurance Co. for an undisclosed price.
ARK is a Texas limited partnership whose general partner is Caliburn Capital I LLC.
Caliburn Capital Managing Partners Kevin Covey, Richard N. Gill and Andrew Sarofim have assumed day-to-day management of the two lots from Central Parking System
. The two lots consist of 58,000 square feet and are located at 457 S. Saint Mary’s and 231 E. Nueva St. The lots provide public parking to La Villita, HemisFair Park and the Bexar County Courthouse.
Corbin Barker and Carrie Caesar of CB Richard Ellis were the listing brokers for the seller, American General Insurance, which had owned these properties since 1966. The purchased was financed by Lone Star National Bank. Ryan Parker, vice president, and Jabier Rodriguez, CEO, handled the transaction for the bank.
