The Katy-based subsidiary of a U.K. offshore energy services company is set for an expansion.
Safekick, which provides Web-based solutions and hardware/software products for drilling efficiency, will build a 10,000-square-foot building on Ravello Drive near Colonial Parkway.
The company already occupies a smaller office on W. Grand Parkway South, with a staff of 15 engineers, and expects to double the size of its staff within two years.
Jason Hannam, Safekick vice president, said in a statement that the company has a goal of constructing a second building in Katy by 2013.
