Alamo Colleges selected the NRP Group LLC and Balfour Beatty Capital to build a new $30 million mixed-use development in San Antonio.
The development will be located near San Antonio College and will feature 215 student housing units, a 1,000-car parking garage and 27,000 square feet of commercial lease space. A local restaurant will serve as the anchor tenant in the commercial space.
The student housing will have four different bedroom plans. Each room will have its own bathroom and each unit will share a common kitchen and living area.

NRP Group is a developer, general contractor and property manager. The company has offices in San Antonio; Cleveland; Phoenix; and Raleigh, N.C. Balfour Beatty Capital is based in Newton Square, Pa.
