Austin Portable Storage LLC, or PODS, leased 46,034 square feet at 2251 Piccadilly Drive in the Northpointe Trade Center.
Dallas-based KDC Real Estate and Investments built the three-building, 450,015-square-foot Northpointe complex in 2008. It is the company's second industrial project.
The PODS deal formed in late February, but took about 45 days to finish paperwork, said Randy Touchstone, KDC vice president and director of the industrial program. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Live Oak-Gottesman is the leasing agent for Northpointe.
Touchstone said PODS liked the property's 28-foot clearing height, which is needed for the company's movable storage units.
