Drury Inn & Suites in Irving was purchased by Savoy Hospitality LLC, which plans to convert the property to a Fairfield Inn & Suites.
The 124-room, four-story hotel is at 4120 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
The hotel acquisition will help reposition the property into the airport market through the strong Marriott brand, said Bert Stevens, first vice president for CBRE Hotels.
The financial details of the transaction was not disclosed.
CBRE Hotels, a subsidiary of CB Richard Ellis Group Inc., aided in the transaction, according to a release from the brokerage.
