The Sundt Foundation named Abigail Shaver, the office manager for Sundt Construction’s San Antonio office, to be its next president for the coming year.
The Sundt Foundation was established in 1998 by Sundt Construction as a way for its employee-owners to give back to the communities in which they work. The foundation is funded by contributions from Sundt employees and are matched by the company. To date, the foundation has awarded more than $4 million in donations.
Sundt is one of the country’s largest general contractors. It was named the 54th largest construction company in the United States by ENR, the industry’s principal trade magazine. In Texas, Sundt has active projects with the City of San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Fort Bliss in El Paso, and Fort Hood in Killeen.
