Campus Advantage has added nearly 2,200 beds to its portfolio, the company announced Wednesday.
The Austin-based student housing management and development firm plans to takeover at least 12 to 14 projects annually during the next few years, officials previously told the Austin Business Journal, as well as grow its consulting services.
The higher education services company took on five new properties in the recent growth spurt, including:
Campus Advantage President and CEO Mike Peter said the company targeted areas where it was already present. The company added 7,500 beds last year, and now manages more than 30,000 beds at 52 locations.
Founded about seven years ago, Campus Advantage has grown to more than 1,000 employees.
