North Central San Antonio office building Union Square II has gained a cool new tenant: Friedrich Air Conditioning.
The locally based manufacturer of residential and commercial-grade cooling systems is occupying 22,000 square feet at Union Square II, which is located at 10001 Reunion Place.
Previously, the firm’s headquarters were located at 4200 Pan Am Expressway, on the city’s East Side. That space had served as the main office for locally based Friedrich for almost 40 years.
“This new space at Union Square II allows us to consolidate our staff onto a single floor,” notes Friedrich CEO George Van Hoomissen.
Making the move to Union Square II were 90 employees — including management, accounting, customer service and production management personnel.
“So far, we’ve received excellent feedback from our employees and visitors,” Hoomissen adds.
