Hotel Sorella CityCentre has been named one of the 15 best new business hotels in the U.S. by Fortune magazine.
The hotel, which opened in August 2009, was created primarily to cater to travelers visiting Houston’s nearby Energy Corridor. Its 224 rooms feature hardwood floors, Italian-inspired furnishings and Bluetooth-enabled entertainment centers.
Hotel Sorella CityCentre also offers free car service to energy companies in the I-10 area.
The only other Texas property included in the list is the Aloft hotel in Dallas.
The recognition follows a debut on the Conde Nast Traveler reader’s choice poll earlier this month, where Hotel Sorella tied for No. 11 in a list of 100 properties.
