Texas A&M University-San Antonio on Friday topped off the first building of its permanent campus.
The 91,000-square-foot building will house the library, bookstore, student services offices, classrooms, faculty and administrative offices and a food service area.
The site is located on Loop 410 between Zarzamora and Moursund roads. The building is expected to be ready for use for the Fall 2011 semester.
San Antonio firms Kell Muñoz and Bartlett Cocke General Contractors are serving as the project’s architect and construction manager, respectively. Workers broke ground on the site in May.
