Three Austin hotels have been sold as part of a 16-property portfolio purge by Merrillville, Ind.-based White Lodging Services Corp.
The company sold a package of its Marriott and Hilton affiliated hotels in seven states to Apple Real Estate Investment Trust Companies for an undisclosed amount. White Lodging will continue to manage the properties.
The deal boosts Apple REIT's ownership to more than 240 hotels nationally.
The deal includes a Marriott, Hilton Garden and Fairfield Inn in Austin. White Lodging was founded in 1985 and manges 151 hotels, including 16 in Austin.
