McCoy Remme Ranches Ltd. has put its 55,374-acre Rockpile Ranch in Jeff Davis County on the sales block.
The asking price was not immediately available.
The ranch is located in West Texas. McCoy Remme Ranches will continue to operate its ranches in Jeff Davis, Reeves and Pecos counties.
“A ranch is so much more than real estate,” co-owner Kaare Remme says. “It is a family commitment. As our family has grown and spread out, we no longer visit the Rockpile as often as we visit our other ranches. I hope that the Rockpile will mean as much to future families of landowners and cowboys as it does to us.”
Remme’s partner in the ranch company is Brian McCoy, the CEO of McCoy’s Building Supply in San Marcos. There are four McCoy’s hardware stores in San Antonio.
