Paul Quinn College will be putting $1 million donated by Trammell S. Crow to use on Tuesday when the school demolishes 13 vacant buildings on its campus. Most of the facilities were built in the 1960s and have structural damages.
Paul Quinn College is a historically black college founded in 1872. The school relocated to Dallas 20 years ago.
Trammell S. Crow announced his personal $1 million donation in June. The funds will cover the demolition, debris removal, as well as the clearing for a new park, soccer and lacrosse field and walking track.
