The Nordstrom Rack is opening next spring in the Sunset Valley Village shopping center off Brodie Lane, which includes Old Navy, Barnes & Noble Inc., World Market and Sprouts Farmers Market LLC stores, among others. The center is owned and operated by RREEF Management, the real estate investment management business of Deutsche Bank's asset management division.
Nordstrom operates a Rack store in Austin's Gateway Shopping Center as well as a full-price Nordstrom's at Barton Creek Square. The Rack division carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com at 50 percent to 60 percent off the original price.
Nordstrom, founded in 1901, operates 193 stores in 28 states.
