Grapevine-based commercial flooring services company Corporate Floors Inc. has acquired the assets of Dallas-based ReSource Flooring Group. The combined firm will have 72 employees and more than $10 million in sales, said Thomas Holland, president and CEO of Corporate Floors.
The deal will bring about 25 jobs to Grapevine, where the combined company will be headquartered at Corporate Floors' new 32,000-square-foot facility at 1712 Minters Chapel Road.
"We bought the new headquarters building in March in anticipation of the acquisition," Holland said.
ReSource Flooring owner Burt Copeland will remain in charge of market development for the SaniGLAZE franchise, which cleans, sanitizes and seals ceramic tile floors and grout. The ReSource team will remain in their current positions at Corporate Floors and will continue to service their existing customer base, Holland said.
"Their team is first-rate, and we are thrilled to have them join our own Corporate Floors team," Holland said.
