BJ’s Restaurants Inc. has opened its new BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse at The Rim shopping center this week.
BJ’s is a Huntington Beach, Calif.-based company that owns and operates 96 casual dining restaurant under the BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse or BJ’s Pizza & Grill brand names. The new restaurant consists of 8,000 square feet of space and can seat 280 people. The restaurant serves BJ’s signature deep-dish pizza, its brand of handcrafted beer and an assortment of salads, appetizers, sandwiches, soups, pastas, entrees and desserts.
The company now has 19 locations in Texas. The location at The Rim represents the company’s third restaurant in San Antonio.
“The San Antonio community has really embraced the BJ’s concept where we have some of our highest sales in Texas,” says Chairman and CEO Jerry Deitchle. “Opening day sales at The Rim were very strong. Additionally, our first restaurant in San Antonio at the Village at Stone Oak continues to deliver solid sales and our Alamo Ranch restaurant, which just opened last month, set a new opening week sales record for our Texas restaurant openings.”
The company currently has six restaurants under construction and other potential restaurant locations currently in the development process.
